The House Judiciary Committee has approved a bill to federally legalize marijuana, paving the way for a historic vote on the House floor. This will remove a stain on peoples record but really a stain on the United States of America, said Tennessee Democratic Rep. The bill would legalize cannabis at the federal level, expunge prior criminal records and require states to re-sentence prisoners serving time for marijuana related offenses.
